Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 2026

Our commitment

Freedman Systems wants this site to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or rely on other assistive technology. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how this site is maintained, not a one-time fix.

What we've done

This site is built with semantic HTML and labeled form fields, supports keyboard navigation, and provides text alternatives for meaningful images. We ran an automated accessibility scan (axe and HTML_CodeSniffer against WCAG 2.1 AA) across every page in production, hand-checked color contrast against the WCAG thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) using the actual rendered colors, and corrected the issues that surfaced, including several low-contrast text instances and a missing footer link to our Terms of Service.

Known limitations

We're not aware of any outstanding contrast or labeling issues on the main pages as of the date above. Two things we're flagging honestly rather than papering over:

  • Some illustrative product-demo panels (for example, on the Catalog page) are interactive and show different content as you click through them. Our latest scan covered the default, initially-rendered state of every page; it's possible a state reached only after interaction has a contrast issue we haven't caught yet.
  • Placeholder text inside the contact form is intentionally lighter than the field labels above it. Every field has a real, properly-contrasted label, so the placeholder is a hint, not the only source of instruction, but the placeholder color itself is lighter than our normal text standard.

We have not run a full manual test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) across every page. If you use assistive technology and hit a real barrier, we want to know: see Contact below.

Reporting an issue

If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We'll look into it and follow up.
